On Sunday, December 15th PTSA held a special swap meet for visitors who were feeling the Christmas spirit. With winter break just right around the corner, the Christmas Swap meet was something that parents, staff, and students find very memorable.

During the swap meet, SEMHS Band, Colorguard, and Drill performed their parade Christmas routine and their famous cadences. ¨ It was fun performing. You can see the little kids and parents clapping and it felt very rewarding,¨ says drill member Chantel. For the Marching Band to show some spirit colorguards flags were red and green and the band wore Christmas hats.

Behind our SEMHS Marching Band was Santa Claus in his sleigh waving to kids and parents after he took pictures with them. Volunteers from CSF, ASB, and Avid were painting kids faces and playing activities with them. ¨ It was nice to face paint because it was fun seeing the kids getting excited,¨ Kassandra the ASB President said.

PTSA  is very thankful that the swap meet turned out to be a success and can´t wait for more holiday cheer for next year.
