Ever since the summer and fall sports have ended, many schools are waiting for the next upcoming winter sports for this and next year.  All new upcoming winter sports are boy’s and girl’s  Basketball, Soccer and Wrestling.  All three sports are played the months of November, December, and will be playing during January and February.  

In the month January, the boys Varsity basketball team will be playing Mountain View on the 3rd, El Monte on the 5th, Gabrielino on the 7th, Marshall on the 12th, Rosemead on the 19th, Arroyo on the 21st, Mountain View on the 24th, El Monte on the 26th and Gabrielino on the 28th, and a single game in February against Marshall on the 2nd.  JV will be playing this month on the 13th, 15th and the 17th. In the month of January they will be playing on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 24th, 26th, 28th and February  will play only the 2nd.  

For girls basketball, both VARSITY and JV play on the same days and teams starting with December 13th against Rosemead, Arroyo on the 15th, John Gelnn on the 29th. January dates will be the 3rd against Mountain View, El Monte on the 5th, Gabrielino on the 7th, Marshall on the 12th, Rosemead on the 19th, Arroyo on the 21st, Mountain View on the 24th, El Monte the 26th, Gabrielino the 28th and February 2nd will be against Marshall.

Boys VARSITY and JV have the same game days in the month of December are very similar besides JV not playing December 11th while VARSITY plays on that day.  The rest of the days in the month of December are the same for 8th, 14th and 16th.

Soccer is another one of the Winter sports for both boys and girls. The soccer season will be lasting over the course of 4 months in November, December, January and February.  All upcoming games for boys VARSITY soccer are the 11th, 14th and 16th for the month of December. In the month of January, game days are 3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 26th and the 28th. Lastly in the month of February, they only the 1st as of recent information.

Next is boys JV soccer which will play in the month of December on the 8th, 14th and 16th. Next month will be the days 3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 26th and the 28th. And as of recent information as well, they will only be playing on the 1st of February.

Girls Varsity soccer will play on the upcoming date of the 10th, 11th, 14th, 16th, 18th and the 28th. January will play on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 24th, 26th and the 28th. In February they only play on one day which is the 1st.

Girls JV soccer January’s dates will be on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 24th, 26th and the 28th. February will also be only one day and will be on the 1st.

The last sport to list is boys and girls wrestling which will last only 3 months from December through February. Starting off with boys VARSITY, they will only be playing in the upcoming days on the 9th and 16th.  In the month of January, VARSITY will play on the 6th, 13th, 20th, 25th and a CIF Duel on the 29th.  February will include the 5th being League Finals, CIF Individuals on the 11th and 12th. CIF Masters will be on the 18th and 19th, and lastly there will be a CIF State going on throughout the 24th through the 26th. 

JV will only be playing in the months of December and January. The dates for December are the 2nd, 9th and the 16th. Finally the dates in January are the 6th, 13th and the 20th. 

And lastly, the girls VARSITY wrestling team will play in the month of December on the 2nd, 9th and the 16th. For January, the dates will be the 6th, 13th, 20th and the 25th. CIF Duals for girls will be on the 29th, League Duels will be on February 5th, CIF Individuals will be on the 11th and 13th. CIF Masters will take place on the 18th and the 19th, and Finally, CIF State will be on the 24 all through until the 26th.
