Jun Zhang is a phenomenal student. Jun is the person you would always want to work with you in every type of group project because of his reliability, dedication, and openness towards anyone he works with. Although he is a very straightforward person, Jun was not always the great extroverted guy he is now. Going back to his elementary days, he was a very shy person who found comfort by spending most of his time in the library and reading books. He is now very expressive person and spends the last of his high school days spending time with his friends.

Jun has taken many challenges throughout his 4 years at South El Monte and has learned many great personal ways that both help and motivate him to strive and do better. For example, Jun has found out that it is much easier to stay on track of things if he has some type of reward waiting for him at the end. Some of these things include free time, video games, and sleeping. These good habits led Jun to success as he plans to attend UC Riverside for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in something he fell in love with, accounting. As Jun earns his diploma here at SEMHS and heads to UCR, he wants to leave a mark and hopes that he is remembered as a positive, outgoing, and supportive friend.
