The Journey Of Andrea Trejo
Andrea is an 18 year old senior in high school, born and raised in El Monte, she is shy, funny, quiet but outgoing, sometimes loud and very caring. And she is really involved in school. She wants to be an EMT and be something big in life. She comes from a house that is always busy and she comes from a good relationship with her mother. She says her mother motivates her to be a better person and to reach for the stars. Andrea Trejo may look like every other girl but she is so much more than that. She says an important experience in her life was that In high school she had tons of friends, relationships and connections with people but in the end of it all, she realized all she had was herself and I know like everyone else, that is completely normal and something that everybody has realized before, during or after high school.
Andrea has always done good in school but she says that an accomplishment she has made in school was passing all of her classes and keeping her grades very maintained.
Andrea’s growth in school wasn’t just in school but also mentally, she says that she didn’t just improve in school but with herself, with self love, her
mental health and her overall, wellbeing. Some challenges she faced were not just with herself but also with her home life and her family life as well but she did gain lessons from it as well, her future lessons for her are to become an EMT and to become what she has always dreamed of. Andrea’s advice to freshmen is to stay focused, stay consistent with work, involve yourself in clubs and sports, be kind, and most importantly, don’t involve yourself in drama. What people can learn from Andrea’s story is it is okay to mess up sometimes, go through hard things and have hard obstacles as long as you get back up and try all over again and never ever let a hard time humble you.
