South El Monte High School is proud to recognize Patricia Fierros as our Parent of the Month. As the devoted mother of Frida Fierros, Patricia has become a shining example of the power of parent involvement, consistently going above and beyond to support our school community.
Her dedication is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: “I want to be a part of my daughter’s journey,” Patricia shared during her interview. “Being involved at school lets me support not only Frida, but all the students here. I want them to know that they are seen and cared for.”
Whether she’s helping organize events, lending a hand in the classroom, or just showing up with a warm smile, Patricia is always ready to serve. “Anytime I’m needed, I try to say yes,” she said. “I love volunteering because I get to see the students grow and feel proud that I had even a small part in that.”
Teachers and staff often highlight Patricia’s consistent presence and positive attitude. She shared that her motivation comes from a deep respect for education and a desire to create a welcoming, encouraging space for all: “I want students to feel like school is a second home. It makes me happy to help make that happen.”
Her daughter Frida, a hardworking and engaged student, clearly draws strength from her mother’s example. Patricia’s presence on campus is not only appreciated by staff and students, but it also sends a powerful message about the importance of family support in education.
We are honored to recognize Patricia Fierros as our Parent of the Month. Her kindness, commitment, and love for the South El Monte High School community leave a lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful for all she does.
