Hi, I’m Val Torres, I’m a 16-year-old junior at South El Monte High School. I am the chief editor of the school newspaper. This year it is my second year of Journalism. I have been in Color Guard for 3 years. I am the youngest of 3 and the only daughter. I am into literature and anything in the Social Science field. I enjoy talking to people, so I’m big on interviews and getting to know the people I am writing about. I hope to continue this greatness until I ultimately graduate.
