When we hear Apple, some people think of a bright red fruit, but others might think of something completely different. When thinking of Apple others might think of luxury, expensive, and advanced technology. While these words describe Apple, customers have high expectations if paying a high price. Apple’s products are pricey, they are very unique and minimalist.
Apple sells many products such as phones, tablets, computers, watches, earbuds, GPS trackers, TV boxes, VR goggles, and even various software and streaming services. While these products vary in price and utility they are all meant for different uses and all devices have their strengths and weaknesses. The most common device from Apple used in many daily lives is the iPhone.
Apple’s headquarters are located in Cupertino, California also known as Apple Park with its land reaching almost 3 million square feet. Although Apple seems very luxurious and appealing it wasn’t always like that. Apple’s establishment goes back to the early 1970s, the golden era of curiosity and technological advancement which lit up the ideas of young Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. The first Apple computer was created in 1976 in Steve Jobs’ by founders Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne.
Apple wanted to make something portable where you could listen to music on a tactile screen and easy fast access to the internet, all in the palm of your hand. On June 29, 2007, Apple introduced something never seen before, it was called the iPhone. This was no regular phone at the time. The iPhone had a camera, a personal planner, a notebook, an alarm, and an entire computer with a touch screen all in one. This was just the beginning of something special. After this massive success then came the revolver of tablets called the iPad. After he departed from Apple due to health precautions on October 5, 2011, the company was struck massively by the passing of CEO Steve Jobs after health complications. There came Tim Cook to continue the role of Jobs and continue his legacy through the company.
Through the years many more revolutionary devices were released to the public such as the MacBook, Apple watch, Airpods, and most recently the Apple Vision Pro. Although the iPhone concept has been around for over a decade it still gets major new changes and features annually.
The iPhone has been around for over a decade and plays a part in millions of daily lives by connecting to relatives easily and quickly and allowing easy internet access. No matter how we use our iPhone, it sure has a big impact on our daily lives and changes how we live through its features and functionality.
South El Monte graduate Ashley Paredes agrees as she states, “My iPhone is a big part of my daily life as it’s always with me, whether it’s to contact my family or friends for emergencies or to watch TikTok or YouTube when I’m bored it sure does play a big role in my life.” Although iPhones are one of the market’s most pricey phones, they are unique and versatile in many ways and will forever be a major piece of Apple’s history and ecosystem. What do you think do you think an iPhone is worth $1200?

I feel like an android but in this society, using an iPhone is better in America. Mostly because the iPhone is the most popular phone in America and iPhones are built for an ecosystem. If everyone used iPhone it would just be easier to get an iPhone.

I agree with your thoughts on Apple and how its products have changed our daily lives. The iPhone, especially, has made it easier to stay connected, work, and have fun, so it’s become an important part of many people’s routines. Even though the price can be high, the way Apple’s technology works together and keeps improving makes it worth it for a lot of people, turning the iPhone into more than just a phone, it’s a big part of how we live now.

An iPhone is not worth that but the article was interesting.

At this rate, Apple is an international corporation that doesn’t just have influence in the United States, Apple is available in over 150 countries and has retail stores in 27 countries and regions. With this reach, they have purposely made their technology a daily human necessity, especially apple pay, I cloud, Apple TV, Apple News and etc. I believe a single I-phone is not worth $1200 since a I-phone 15 for example costs $558 to produce, and many people see Apple as a luxurious brand which allows them to get away with the absurd prices, especially when a newer phone is introduced that’s virtually the same as all previous ones. Apple makes a great definition of what American Capitalism looks like.

I like the sleek look of apple’s Iphone and I myself own some of apples products but I don’t agree with the pricing the products I own are the average price range I don’t see why prices have to go so high I guess its a matter of preference.

It’s all personal preference to using Android or Apple products. I personally enjoy using Apple more. My whole life I’ve been using different Android phones and devices. Up until last year I bought an Apple phone and found that I enjoyed the features a lot more than the past Androids I’ve been using. It runs programs smoothly and my experiences have been positive so far.

while an iphone sounds good on paper and with all its alternative features but that price tag is definately not for everyone, so for me a samsung is perfectly fine

I think Apple products are worth it because they have better technology than any other phone brand. The price is reasonable because of the amazing things that the iPhone can do on a small screen.

I don’t believe that an iPhone is worth it because although it is a good phone with good technology, Samsung makes better phones and they last longer and are more durable.

Apple is far better then Android just on looks.

I think that this technological advances made a big impact on our lives, now most people have a phone, an iPhone is not worth 1200 dollars but we still pay them, this price is more because of the brand and not because the technology it has, a phone that might cost half of it does the same.

I don’t think an iPhone is worth $1200, but good article.
